Coverage and bulletin details

Pick the guide by symptom. For reduced engine power, with or without the check engine light, start with the reduced engine power guide. Bulletin 22-NA-224 lists five codes that can set with it: P0101, P0172, P0299, P0506 and P1101. The first check is whether the charge air cooler outlet tube is still attached at the throttle body.

If P1101 comes with a front or rear crankshaft oil leak, use the P1101 guide. Bulletin 20-NA-047 makes a crankcase pressure test part of finding the cause. Normal on the LYX is −1 to −5 inH₂O at hot idle in Park, and a reading above 0 inH₂O calls for further diagnosis. The P1101 guide also covers the two charge-air causes.

Then check year and engine. The PIP5402D coupler O-ring check applies to 2018–2019 only, after normal diagnostics have not found the cause, and it is the only document here that lists the 2.0L LTG. NHTSA’s recall records, read October 14, 2026, show no recall covering the charge air tube, charge air cooler, turbocharger or air intake on the 2018–2022 Terrain.
