P0442

P0442 is GM’s “Evaporative Emission System Small Leak Detected” code. GM bulletin 21-NA-124 lists it with a lit MIL on 2000–2021 gasoline vehicles and says the vehicle sets it because of a small leak in the evaporative emission (EVAP) system.
